Grounded in Community has partnered with several  local community organizations ,  including Collective Roots , Veggielution., and Food Empowerment Project. All organizations are dedicated to providing healthy and affordable meals to members of their community to help alleviate food insecurity and food inequity,

Launch

On November 9th, 2017, we launched our first culturally relevant slow cooker meal demonstration at the Senior Center in East Palo Alto.  Eligible participants received a slow cooker.  Since our initial launch, we have provided over 100 slow cookers to participating community members.
